The idea to cause the design and construction of an "Argentina´s Project " is part of a new conscience that has
been developed between us in spite of the adverse circumstances by
which our country had to cross throughout a rough and painful
institutional history until 1983.
This searching, nevertheless does not have anything of novel.
We are not the unique ones nor first that has worried to define the
strategic priorities.
All those countries that have known how to canalize their
energies behind a development model that defined their national profiles, managed
to integrate themselves to the modern global world. Now, those countries are
fundamental protagonists and considered the most
powerful Earth nations. This successfully travel was done emerging between the ruins left by World War
II.
In the Argentina´s case, although some progresses have been
registered, in the operation of economy, still is
difficult to explain how a country equipped with all the natural
resources, with a trained population, does not obtain a selfmaintained
growth that allows us to give solution to all the problems that worry to our society daily.
The institutional structure does not seem improved substantially nor the representativeness and transparency of the political
leadership either, that is questioned almost every day in spite of the
17 years of uninterrupted democracy.
All the members of the Foundation " Argentina´s Project Council" are dedicated to this problematic matter with the objective to take an intelligent advantage of the space
that offers the international scheme, trying to develop an strategic thought . As a "Think Tank" the challenget is reach definitions considering the existence of
subjects that, once under common consent, constitute the great national
policies that may not be exposed by electioneering reasons. Those subjects assure
grant projection, security and legal stability to the common
objectives to all the Argentineans.
From the begining of our work we didn´t worry about diversity of
extractions to that we pruned to belong. We have definitely
established in our Statutes, that our institution does not persecute
profit aims, neither it depends nor it responds to no partisan policy
nor to sectorial interests.
Throughout the national history, Argentina has developed many
activities successfully. Among them, the power industry excels due to
the political continuity and to the existence of applied natural and
human resources with intelligence. For that reason, the level reached
in the matter of gas is appraised (second place in the world); in
petroleum (not only selfsupply but, also exporter); in
electricity (a model of original transformation); in atomic energy
(with a technological development that locates to us more - by some
profits reached between the twelve advanced countries in the matter).
The greater experience of our institution and all its
collaborators is registered indeed in this field and is for that
reason that the the energy subjects have
constituted the center of our activities. This site in the network, therefore, without
excluding other thematics from interest, will concentrate
all the information on energy, policy and public services, the reform
of the State and the privatizations with its consequences for all the
users and the Argentine economy as a whole.
We try to offer a deeply plural scope of coincidences,
opened all those people with something to contribute to the Argentina´s
